Warfield is a band from Santa Catarina, Brazil, that embodies the essence of metal in its purest form, blending influences ranging from Heavy Metal to Thrash Metal, among other genres.

With two albums released—Times of Dust (2010) and the more recent Master Executor (2021), which was nominated for best of the year, received a great review in Roadie Crew magazine (issue no. 268) and an interview feature (issue no. 279)—the group showcases heaviness, technique, catchy melodies and choruses, presenting a solid sonic identity, as well as great versatility in their compositions.

Both albums are available on physical CD and streaming on major music platforms.

On that occasion, the group had the opportunity to give an interview talking a little about their trajectory, the new phase of the band and about their latest release, “Master Executor”. In issue number 268, WARFIELD also received very positive comments, in a review made of the aforementioned album.

Issue #279 of Roadie Crew brings as cover highlights an interview with Mercyful Fate, who talks about their new arrival in Brazil, being one of the main headliners of the Summer Breeze Brasil festival.

Remember the album “Chinese Democracy” by the problematic Guns N’Roses? Well, if the styles between the North American group and WARFIELD are very different, we can no longer say the same thing about the production time of the two works mentioned here. “Master Executor” is the second play by the people from Santa Catarina and the almost endless time of its production left us with doubts as to whether it would even be released.

Finally, in 2023, “Master Executor” saw the light of day and is impressive! WARFIELD’s modern Heavy Metal, with old school touches, remains vibrant, elevating everything they did on their debut album, “Times of Dust” from the distant 2010. The production is spot on, impeccable cover art, the band’s look is extremely professional, so, All of this shows that even with so much delay, its leader and guitarist Ivan Caregnato knew how to manage everything in the most effective way possible.

The material has nine tracks in just over forty-nine minutes and, despite being relatively long, I have to admit that everything here sounded very pleasant to me. “Men, Machines… Memories”, “Missing Children” and the epic “June 1944 (D-Day)” with their more than seven minutes are completely pleasing and kind of make up for all the needs of the band’s fans in these more than ten years of wait. Another highlight goes to vocalist Gustavo Rafaeli, who has a beautiful timbre and knows how to use it to the advantage of the songs, and does not want to take on a forced role, with unnecessary note elevations. A true lesson in execution and interpretation.

“Master Executor” has already become one of the main national releases of the year 2023, at least for this humble editor who writes to you. I just hope it won’t be too late for the third chapter of this journey to be made available. It’s really worth giving it a chance, excellent!

News! The 2010 Times of Dust album is already available on major music platforms, check it out. This month we will still be releasing the new album.

WARFIELD, which will soon release its upcoming album, has confirmed that, in the meantime, it will make available on digital platforms the album, “Times Of Dust”, originally released in 2010. The artwork for the 2021 material was signed by the renowned designer , Carlos Fides.

The full-length will be distributed via CD-Baby to over 250 streaming platforms in partnership with MS Metal Records.

We are proud to announce that we from WARFIELD will be present at the 2nd edition of HARD POWER UNITED – Hard Meets Heavy, a benefit festival that brings together Hard ‘N’ Heavy bands from all over the world in support of social causes, this time giving strength to NGOs supporting children with disabilities, cancer and rare syndromes.

The event marks the band’s return, featuring new material that will be part of our new album.

The band WARFIELD confirmed the new line-up of the quintet, which contains two guitarists, Ivan Caregnato and Fabrício Casella, bassist Thomaz Bordignon, on drums Fontaine Di Bastiani and on vocals, Gustavo Rafaeli.

In parallel, WARFIELD’s second album, entitled “Master Executor”, will be released in October 2021 in the country through MS Metal Records.

“Master Executor”, his second record work, will have the distribution of,Voice Music, which will be responsible for supplying the country’s specialized stores.
